The deliverable

One report. Four expensive questions answered.

This is a narrow decision tool—not a vague coaching call and not an essay-editing bundle.

01

Where does my GPA actually count?

Your cGPA, best-two, recent-three, and school-specific screens are calculated separately instead of flattened into one number.

02

Which MCAT rule changes my list?

CARS-only, section cutoffs, total-score thresholds, and schools that do not use the MCAT are shown explicitly.

03

Am I in the right applicant pool?

Ontario, out-of-province, regional, and pathway factors are flagged for manual verification before you rely on them.

04

What should I verify next?

Every audit ends with a ranked shortlist, source appendix with retrieval dates, and a concrete verification checklist.

What this is not

Honest enough to show its limits.

Not an admissions prediction. A planning score cannot see your essays, CASPer, references, interview, or next year's applicant pool.

Not official advice. School and OMSAS pages always control. Requirements are re-checked at delivery, but they can change.

Not ghostwriting. This founding offer does not write or edit essays, ABS entries, or references.

Not credential theatre. The service is built by an Ontario premed and research assistant—not a former admissions officer.

Why trust the process?

Research habits, without the authority costume.

MedCompass was built by an Ontario Medical Sciences student and research assistant. The same habits used to reconcile physician rosters across provincial registries—source tracing, explicit uncertainty, and deterministic checks—shape every audit.

The tool began as private application planning and now links to 65 official admissions sources, each with a retrieval date and confidence label.

The operator has not served on an admissions committee. That is why the offer stays narrow: organize the evidence, run the profile through published rules, and show exactly what still needs human verification.

Plain answers

Before you ask.

Who is this for?

Canadian citizens or permanent residents living in Ontario who are building a 2026–27 Canadian MD school list. Complex international, Quebec French-language, Indigenous-pathway, or nontraditional transcript cases may be declined or narrowed rather than guessed at.

What data do you need?

Province and residency ties, undergraduate year GPAs or course grades needed for the relevant formula, MCAT scores if written, degree status, and any pathway facts you want assessed. Never send a SIN, banking data, passwords, government ID, or unredacted document containing them.

Why not use a free spreadsheet?

You should use official guides and free tools where they answer your question. This service is for applicants who want their own profile run through the rules, contradictions surfaced, and the source-checking work organized into one decision document.

Can you guarantee interviews?

No. Nobody can responsibly guarantee an interview or offer. A report that says otherwise is selling certainty it cannot possess.

How is my data handled?

Intake is used only for your report, stored locally, not used to train AI, and deleted within 30 days after delivery unless law requires otherwise. See the privacy policy.
